I do my very best to describe all items in The Smoothe Store but understand that sometimes something arrives in the mail and for one reason or another it isn’t quite what you expected. The thought of an unhappy customer keeps me up at night, so please give me a chance to make it right.
Refund and Exchanges 📦
To start a refund or exchange, please contact me at sarah@TheSmootheStore. Returns and exchanges info:
- Accepted within 90 days of receiving the product.
- Extended for Christmas returns on items purchased in November and December – returns through April 15th.
- Must be unworn and in new condition.
- Broken, defective or has a personalization mistake – of course, I will replace it without any additional shipping fees or you can have a full refund.
Return Shipping 📦
I’ll try to make it as painless as possible! 🚫 🩹💉🚫
- I’ll give send you a return label by email or if you don’t have a printer, I can mail a label to you.
- Drop it in a USPS blue box or at the post office, or schedule for a free USPS pick up during your regular mail delivery.
- After your return is received and inspected, I’ll send you an email to let you know your refund is on the way. Refunds usually take a day to process once we receive the item in the mail.
What about the cost? It depends on the situation.
- No returns shipping charge for:
- For broken items, misprints or personalization mistakes. If it’s useable, we ask that you donate it to a local shelter. If you’d like a replacement, there are no additional shipping charges.
- Store credit or exchanges.
- Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping cost unless you opt for a store credit or exchange.
Note that original shipping charges are non-refundable unless there is a mistake or product problem on our side.
Recommendations
If you are returning an item valued at over $75, we highly recommend that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if it is not tracked.
Returned items must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It's great if you have the original packaging but cool if you don't. We just ask that you make sure that glass items are properly protected.
FYI
When I started my little store, I was anxious that people would take advantage of the return policy, but I am happy to report that, with the exception of one greedy non-wiener-loving thief, it hasn't been an issue.
Dachshund-loving dog people are the best! I'm an easy-going person and I run my store for fun on the side of my day job, so you can expect care, attention and ween-loving chit chat from me.
